Alcohol is not your friend. I've learned that myself. Same as you, every stupid thing that I've done was alcohol related. I haven't drank in 4 years. Took a while, but now I don't miss it at all. God bless you, my friend.

Nothing like a correctly cooked piece of fish with a stonkin batter. Here in Australia we don't get mushy peas or curry sauce offered to us, but it's generally tartare sauce, lemon slices or tomato sauce. I must say though, i reckon I'd enjoy mushy peas on occasion. We don't get Haddock offered here either. Its generally Flake, Flathead, Barramundi, Blue Granadeir, whiting and rarely perhaps Cod. They generally offer the fish grilled as an option and sometimes crumbed. A really good chippy is hit and miss around here in my opinion. I have a fairly good one 100m from my front door 😅 They even sell chicken parm and chips for $10 AUD... so about £6 and its a GOOD size and enjoyable

addiction is a bitch, but its a bitch you can tame. stopping alcohol was tough, but definetly less tough than cigarettes. you can do it, it's just a matter of willpower and wanting it enough, you will now remember memories without that fuzz cloud preventing you with getting the emotions those memories are associated with. play games, have sex, watch the stars. live while you are alive. if you are thirsty have apepsi or something, even de-alcoholized brews can help you blend in if thats your problem. solutions come only to those who grasp them.

I’m a Barra lass myself and when I hear your accent on here it’s sounds mad (in a good way,) because most of the content I watch on UA-cam is from the USA. So, I’m not really used to hearing our accent on here. But we do all sound bloody awesome though…I’m not bias at all. 😂

I will have to look and see if they sell this type of bean n weeny and what they charge for this in the US. Granted if i remember most imported items are more expensive than the US counterparts (not just because of shipping) but they also do not use the bloody cheap corn syrup in everything. The 42% pork is kinda scary... normally i would just buy a can of beans n sauce and get a separate package of hotdogs or sausages. Granted less shelf life and a bit more expensive but well worth the difference in quality.

feels amazing to wake up sober instead of poisoned and with a self inflicted flu!. Who wants to feel like garbage in the morning!. Even if one has (depending on where they live and their personal/ professional/ health situation) not recommending anyone do anything their doctor hasnt recommended but say even with hypothetically cbd or thc to maybe stave a hang over, probably gonna feel tired, possibly still sick, even if one tries to and Im not recommending anyone do anything outside of a doctors recommendation supplements to support the liver youre still probably gonna feel bad about yourself, what one did or didn’t do, the poison input, loss time, oversleeping and still tired. Nah man, not worth it for a few hours or whatever. Plus its a sin to get drunk as I understand it so that for me is reason enough!.

I quite like the cambells condensed chicken soup but its a smaller can and i think its about £1.30 now. So cant afford it. 😢 Glad to see you looking better mate.

Hi. I started smoking when i was about 10 years old. I finally quit after I had been smoking for 44 years. I tried quitting for at least half of that time. I did not count the days that I went without cigarettes, what I did is, every day I would put the money I would have spent on ciggies in a box and saved it. I then used to treat myself with things I would not be able to afford before. I have a cracking camera set up. My wife and I have ha some great weekends away, A couple of those have been in Barrow. We love the Ship Inn on Piel Island. So do not focus on the days you go without but on the treats you can give to yourself and your wife. Stay strong.

I feel for you. You know what your problems are so you are already on the road to recovery. It takes a brave person to admit to something like this, not to just friends and family, but to all who follow you on You tube also. congrats for 100k. try not to give up boose for life. try to reprogramme the brain to only have a few and not a binge session so you can still enjoy it to a point. i managed to do that myself and i feel a lot better for it and i can still enjoy a drink and not go silly.

Hi mate. I am in exactly your shoes now. Sorry to hear you fell down the hill. I have lost everything now. All because of alcohol and going the pub. I lost my job 2 weeks ago. I am losing my house in 1 week because of rent arrears. My mental health has gone right down. I attempted suicide a week ago. (Still here ). But I have lost everything now all because of going the pub and alcohol. Life's end is near. I ain't living on the streets. I have got a degree in IT, but it's all gone down the pan due to alcohol 😢 If I lose my house next week then am losing my life 😢😢 Alcohol has destroyed my life.

I have to watch myself drinking whiskey.ive cut back big time due to chest pains and started with loosing weight as slimming world so having to cut back. Im so glad as once I usually start i can't stop .oooh I'm only have 1 every night ! Then two then three always doubles .even having a cheeky straight one when I've said I'm done now to the Mrs. Once you start it's hard to stop .I can now control it and have just 1 .on a Saturday night . enjoy the taste to much to stop .it costs me less I feel so much better and slimmer and now I'm in control .id rather be the slim new me . If you struggle best seek professional help ! It's really worth it to keep your wife and kids .keep going .you will see it's worth it In a few months.

You Sir, are an alcoholic in no uncertain terms. Not a binge drinker. I am a recovering alcoholic for 27 years. I know what an alcoholic looks like. If I can do it, you can do it. Go to meetings. Do the work.
